3M VHB Tape 4926 is a double-sided tape comprised of a multi-purpose acrylic adhesive with a conformable, foam core backed on a 3 mil thick 54# densified kraft paper liner, delivering a total thickness of 15 mil (0.4 mm) when applied. This tape provides an excellent balance of strength, conformability, and adhesion to high and medium surface energy materials, making it a smooth, seamless alternative to rivets, welds, and screws.
