This chair is capable of returning the rebar to approximately its original position after being subject to loads commonly encountered while placing the rebar and spreading the concrete. This flexible plastic support helps solve problems of concrete slabs by getting the rebar off the ground, supporting the rebar above the membrane before and during pouring, snapping to the rebar easily, quickly, and firmly, deflecting and rebounding when the rebar is pressed down, resisting the tendency to enter the subsurface due to the large base ring, reducing manpower on the job by eliminating the "hook man," and being designed for a 5" to 6" slab.
